The Center for International Relations of the Ministry of Education of our country held the “Days of Education and Science of Sardinia in Belarus” in March 2-3. The plenary session “Higher Education of Belarus and Sardinia: the State and Prospects for Cooperation” was held with the participation of representatives of higher education institutions.
The ties between Sardinia and Belarus have develop in several directions. One of such productive directions is tourism. The representatives of University of Cagliary is interested in cooperation with BSUPC and its Institute of Tourism. The meeting of executives of two universities took place in March 3. Carla Massidda the associated professor of economics, politics and jurisprudence from the University of Cagliary and the Director of The Institute of Tourism of BSUPC met to discuss the prospects of bilateral cooperation, exchanged the contacts for further communication.
The University of Cagliary was established in 1620. It is the oldest university in Italy. It consists of few buildings, which are located in picturesque seaside of Sardinia.
