How to Apply?

Belarusian State University of Physical Culture pays much attention to the foreign students’ education. Our university does the best to integrate foreign students in belarusian living environment and culture surroundings, to create comfort conditions for studies, leisure and sports activities. The university extended the deadline for foreigners’ entrance applications. The number of Russian language lessons was increased, and what is more, BSUPC provides foreign students the opportunity to handle favourite sports.

So, how to apply to BSUPC?
Foreign students need to present to the International Department the following documents, as well as to get studying invitation. The invitation is the requirement for visa in Belarusian Embassy [1] in foreign country (for countries where visa is needed [2] ):

1. the passport
2. the certificate of recognition of a document on education issued in a foreign country and establishing its equivalence (conformity) to a document on education of Republic of Belarus
3. the medical certificate
4. HIV-test certificate
5. the birth certificate/copy of the birth certificate
6. Pre-University Preparation Certificate or the Preparatory Department Certificate (if you don’t have it you will have the examination in Russian language at BSUPC)
7. the application addressed to the head of educational establishment in the prescribed form

To the above-mentioned documents should be attached it’s officially notarized translation into Russian language, if these documents are in foreign language.

To get the invitation foreign applicant should send the copies of these documents via e-mail, mail or fax.


Exams for entrance

Bachelor Degree:
— Russian language interview
— the exam on “Physical culture” of chosen kind of sport (except for the specialty «Tourism and hospitality»)

Master Degree:
— specialty «Theory and methodology of physical education, sports training, recreational and adaptive physical culture»: Russian language interview, exam on «Theory and methodology of physical education»

—  specialty «Management of innovative projects in the tourism industry»: Russian language interview, exam on «Marketing management in tourism and hospitality»

Additionally, if the education is not specialized, applicants take the exam on «Anatomical, physiological and biomechanical fundamentals of human life»

Forms of control

At the end of every term students have exams. During the exams they get marks and credits on given disciplines. The grade system at Belarusian universities consists of marks from 1 to 10 since 2004.
