BSUPC held the meeting of senior executives of the International Amateur Boxing Association (AIBA) with students and lecturers. About 100 people gathered in a conference hall in the building of the sports complex «Indoor Athletic Track» to communicate with the high-ranking guests. Belarusian veterans of boxing, and the national team joined the meeting.
The President of the International Amateur Boxing Association Ching Kou Wu congratulated everyone with the fact that Minsk will host the 2019 European Games. He expressed his admiration for the attitude of the people of our country to sport. Anyone who is engaged in boxing, Ching Kou Wu encouraged always to adhere to the three most important rules: to be hardworking, respectful and friendly.
A pleasant surprise to the AIBA President was granting him the title of Honorary Doctor of the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture for the development of Olympic education and the preservation of the Olympic values. Dr. Ching Kou Wu received the certifying papers and award pin confirming his new status from the BSUPC Rector’s hands.
