Since March 25, 2021, the II International Scientific and Practical Conference «Combat Sports: Traditions, Reality, Challenges» is being held at the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture, dedicated to the memory of the founder and the first head of the Department of Combat Sports and Special Training of BSUFK, Master of Sports USSR, associate professor, candidate of pedagogical sciences, Viktor Anatolyevich Bartash.
The conference is organized by the Ministry of Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Belarus, Belarusian State University of Physical Culture, National State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Health named after P.F. Lesgaft, Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sports, National Sports Academy named after Vasil Levsky, International Federation of Hand-to-Hand combat, Belarusian Federation of hand-to-hand fighting and mixed martial arts, Belarusian Taekwondo Federation, Belarusian Taekwondo League.
As part of a two-day program (03.25-26.03.2021), conference participants (coaches, practitioners, representatives of federations, clubs and sections) will hold a series of master classes and round tables, where they will present their developments on the organization of the educational process and its scientific support, tell about their success stories and personal experiences, discuss prospects for the development of combat sports and issues of maintaining continuity and traditions in the face of modern challenges. In addition to representatives of all regions of the Republic of Belarus, the participation of specialists from Russian Federation, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Bulgaria, both in real and online modes, is planned.
Doctors of Sciences will present their reports at the plenary session: Platonov Vladimir Nikolaevich (Ukraine), Marishchuk Lyudmila Vladimirovna (Republic of Belarus), Ashkinazi Sergey Maksimovich (Russian Federation), Shiyan Viktor Vladimirovich (Russian Federation). Also, within the framework of the conference, it is planned to inaugurate the personal study of V.A. Bartash, holding a hand-to-hand fighting tournament and a concert program.
