Mohammed Nur Salem, the Arab Republic of Egypt Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, and Mohammed Abd El-Aziz Gonim, Chairman of the Egyptian Boxing Federation, conducted an official visit to the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture.
The delegation was met by: Belarus First Deputy Sport and Tourism Minister Vyacheslav Durnov, Rector of BSUPC Sergey Repkin, Vice Rector on Education Vladimir Klinov, Executive Director of the Belarus Boxing Federation Natalya Kolesnikova and Belarus Boxing Federation General Secretary Nikolay Bolshakov.
The parties discussed issues of joint cooperation in the sphere of education, and also in sports of highest achievements — the boxing federations of Belarus and Egypt are planning to sign an agreement of cooperation.
As a part of the visit guests founded out how to prepare specialists of physical culture, sport and tourism, got acquainted with sports infrastructure and training facilities of the BSUPC, training base of university, visited the university track-and-field arena and swimming complex, Boxing History Museum.
The delegation arrived in Belarus to take part in Belarus-Egypt joint sports week: during July 15-21, 2019 the athletes of both countries will be training at the base of Olympic Sports Complex “Stayki”.
