The Belarusian State University of Physical Culture was visited by a Japanese delegation on June 21, 2019. The group comprised the representatives of the Shiroishi city, city hall of Shibata city, as well as professors and students from Sendai University, headed by the Chairman Taiji Hozawa.
The guests were welcomed by Sergey Repkin, Rector of BSUPC. The parties discussed both state and perspectives of mutual collaboration.
It is worth noting, that within the framework of BSUPC and Sendai University interaction on April, 2018, at Faculty of sports combats was initiated a three-year internship of judo teacher Naoki Nakata from Sendai University. On May, 2019 teachers of the gymnastics department of BSUPC-Maria Makarova and Alina Sevets, had visited Sendai University on an exchange program from Belarusian side.
The plan of current visit of Sendai University students to BSUPC includes a week internship at the gymnastics department.
During the visit, delegates will also attend the competitions of the 2nd European Games on June, 21-30 in Minsk.
