The delegation from Chengdu Sport University (People’s Republic of China), one of the leading universities of south-western China, visited Belarusian State University of Physical Culture October 17th to October 19th.

Established in 1942, Chengdu Sport University, celebrates its 75th anniversary on 26 October, 2017. Over the years of its activity the university has gained great popularity in the Southwest of China and belongs to the most influential Chinese universities in the field of sport and physical culture. Chengdu Sport University trains specialists in the field of physical culture, sports medicine, wushu, economics and management in the sport of high achievements, recreation, sports journalism and foreign languages.
As a part of the delegation the university was visited by President of Chengdu Sport University Liu Qing, the head of the department of sport of high achievements Zhou Huey, the head of international department Li Zhaihuey, the deputy head of student department Huang Xia, the coach of the department of sport of high achievements Li Sha.
Signing the cooperation agreement between Belarusian State University of Physical Culture and Chengdu Sport University
As a result of negotiations, the cooperation agreement between Belarusian State University of Physical Culture and Chengdu Sport University was signed. Also, the heads of two universities discussed the possibility of opening the rehabilitation center in the territory of BSUPC, the exchange of teachers and students, the organization of internships and joint scientific conferences.
Within the framework of the visit, the delegation from the Chengdu Sport University got acquainted with the infrastructure and the educational and sports base of the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture, visited the department of gymnastics, where the guests could get acquainted with the organization of the educational and training process.

Also, for the delegation was organized the excursion in the multifunctional complex “Minsk-Arena” and National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus, where our Chinese partners highly appreciated the Olympic achievements of Belarusian athletes.
