The delegation from Sendai University and the representatives of Siroisi city administration visited Belarusian State University of Physical Culture on February 22. It included of the President of the Sendai University – Hozava Taidzhi, teachers from Sendai University Yamanashi Masae and Cavano Micky and the deputy of the Siroisi city administration – Hashiyada Kodji.
Sendai University is the only one university, which is located in the north of Japan. It is trained young specialists in the field of physical culture and sport. The delegation met with the authorities of BSUPC preceded by the rector Gregory Kasiachenka to sign a cooperation agreement between the two universities. The agreement provides organization of cooperative conferences and seminars, intermutual probation of universities’ stuff, exchange of students to learn and participate in the training process.
Also, the delegation met with the authorities of Minsk City Government and visited the Museum of Olympic Glory, which is located in the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus.
Both, the guests met with the leadership of the «Belarusian Gymnastics Association». It is planned that before the official opening of “XXXII Summer Olympic Games” in Tokyo the training camp locates in Japan will be organized for the national team of Belarus in rhythmic gymnastics.
The Japanese delegation, besides, had a trip to the National Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve «Niasvizh».
