The seminar “Modern training systems for high-class sportsmen and reserve in gymnastic and dance sports” and the international sports acrobatics tournament “BSUPC Cup” in memory of the USSR Honored Coach Mikhail Tseytin in the format of sports show “The constellation of gracefulness” were held at the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture opening ceremony.
The flag holders, representing 10 forum participating countries — Belarus, Russia, Belgium, Great Britain, Germany, Moldova, Poland, the Republic of South Africa, China and Japan — were the first to come to stage.
While welcoming the sportsmen, the participants and guests of event, the BSUPC rector Sergey Repkin noted that the university appreciates traditions, respects professionals, like Mikhail Tseytin. “He was the type of person, totally captivated by his profession and treated his business with great passion. “He is an inspiring example for not only young, but also experienced coaches,” said Sergey Repkin.
Tatsiana Morozevich, vice-rector on science, thanked everyone for active participation in the seminar and wished fruitful work at BSUPC.
Amateur and sports teams of the university, guested dance ensembles, sports schools students, sports acrobatics international tournament participants took part in the show “Constellation of Gracefulness”.
