Students of the preparatory department continue to get acquainted with Minsk

Students of the preparatory department visited the museum of the history of Belarusian cinema, which is a branch of the National Historical Museum. The audience got acquainted with the history of national cinema from silent film to sound, its achievements and founders, saw unique exhibits of the museum fund: XX c. X in., motion-picture projector and other professional equipment for filming and demonstration of different years, War-time news and much more.

Special interest of the audience was the exhibition «From Minsk» from the funds of the Moscow Museum of Animation, dedicated to the 105th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Soviet artist-animator Leonid Schwarzman, who considered Minsk his «eternal inspiration». The audience saw photos and documents from Schwarzmann’s personal archive, professional tools of the artist, as well as original sketches, drawings and sketches to famous cartoons and production phases of animation. The tour continued with a walk through the New Year’s city.


The students of 9 and 10 groups visited an exhibition of paintings by different artists, an exhibition of ceramics and porcelain in the Art Gallery of the University of Culture at the Palace of the Republic, where they viewed with interest various works, especially the work of E. K. Kozuli, presented at the exhibition on «Khatyn». With great pleasure they walked through the Freedom Square, heard about all monuments of culture and architecture.



Group 7 attendees visited the Cat Museum, got acquainted with the history of cats, saw a variety of exhibits, pictures and drawings associated with these fluffy pets, and talked to the kittens living there.
