The State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus and the Commission on Science and Technology of the People’s Government of Shanghai are going to hold the first meeting on the scientific and technical cooperation and announce a competition of joint Belarusian-Chinese scientific and technical projects in 2018. This was discussed during the meeting of Alexander Shumilin, Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology, with Ma Sinfa, Deputy Chairman of the Commission on Science and Technology of the People’s Government of the City of Shanghai. During the meeting, the parties also discussed the promising areas of the bilateral scientific, technical and innovative cooperation, including in the fields of engineering, electric power, biotechnology, medicine, ecology and nature management. It is expected that the parties will determine several high-tech projects for the joint implementation in the near future.
