XXIV International Scientific Congress “Olympic Sports and Sports for All”, which was to be held on June 10-13, 2020 at Volga Region State Academy of Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism (Kazan), has been canceled.
The event was planned to be held on time, or at least, postponed. Finally, it was decided to change event format and to form a volume of scientific materials, sent by participants.
This volume is designed for people of sports, coaches, educational establishment representatives and public organizations, researchers, faculty chairs, and graduates.
The aforementioned XXV International Scientific Congress «Olympic Sports and Sports for All» is planned to be held on October 1-3, 2020, on the basis of Mink State University of Physical Culture. This event is sponsored by the International Association of Physical Culture and Sports Universities, the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus, Sports and Tourism Ministry of the Republic of Belarus, and the President’s Sports Club of Belarus.
The Congress goal is to consolidate specialists, involved in universities academic and science work, the representatives of sports sphere to discuss problematic moments in Olympic Sports, sports of high achievements and «casual» sports; revealing trends in Olympic sports evolvement, innovative research projects and concepts. The event annually brings together professionals from more than 40 countries worldwide.
The event took place in the format of an open international platform for the experience exchange between participants with a view to the subsequent joint development of strategies for the development of sports science, the usage of latest scientific and technical sources for preparation of highly qualified coaching staff, and the initiation of bilateral and multilateral partnerships between higher education institutions, scientific and sports organizations. The congress business program will include both formal events (plenary session, round tables, seminars, master classes), and informal, to establish an effective communication between participants.
