Confucius Class BSUPC took an active part in spending a holiday of Chinese culture “The Day of Confucius Class”. The holiday was on October, 5 on the territory of the Upper city near the Town Hall.
Eight indoor tents were installed on the site, in one of them an exposition of Confucius Class BSUPC was placed. Teachers and listeners of the Class prepared a number of activities for the guests of the Holiday: calligraphy master-classes, traditional chinese technics “Jianzhi” (paper cutting), tea ceremony.
The representatives of the Class also took part in a concert program, demonstrated their sports skill in eastern martial arts. Students of the Lingnan Pedagogical University who are taking educational practice, showed the Dragon dance and Lion dance.
The First Vice-Rector of the University Sergey Shavruk and Director of the Class Natalia Kosteeva and Song Peng took part in work of the exposition of the Class.
Guests of the Festival could taste dishes of chinese cuisine, watch for vocal, dancing, sport and musical collectives. Life-size dolls and animators in national costumes entertained the visitors.
It should be noted that initiator of carrying out of the first “Day of Confucius Institutes” in Minsk in 2017 was BSUPC Confucius Class.
