On October 13-14, 2020, the IV International Congress Vita Rehab Week 2020 «Modern technologies and equipment for medical rehabilitation, spa treatment and sports medicine» was held in Yekaterinburg (Russia) in an online format.
The event was organized by the Ural State University of Physical Culture and Vita Tekhnika Company LLC.
The Congress was attended by scientists working in the field of physical and rehabilitation medicine; rehabilitation doctors, physiotherapists, neurologists, trauma surgeons, orthopedists from leading rehabilitation centers and sanatoriums; specialists in the field of sports medicine and exercise therapy doctors; developers and suppliers of innovative medical equipment.
The scientific program of the congress consisted of 4 directions:
«Medical rehabilitation of patients at stages 1, 2 and 3»;
«Modern technologies of spa treatment»;
“Pediatric neurology. Modern methods of rehabilitation” and “Innovations in sports medicine”.
At the congress, the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture was presented by the report of the head of the educational research laboratory for functional diagnostics and restorative technologies of the Center for the coordination of scientific, methodological and innovative activities, candidate of medical sciences D.K. Zubovsky «The use of audiovisual stimulation in hearing-deprived children to prepare for sports». The analysis of the state of affairs on this topic and the results of the speaker’s own research aroused keen interest among the organizers and participants of the congress.
