On 27 October in the assembly hall of Belarusian State University of Physical Culture a festive meeting, dedicated to the university’s 80th anniversary, took place.
The Heads of the ministries, institutions, educational establishments, honorable athletes and coaches greeted the university with its birthday.
Honorary guests spoke many pleasant words in address of employees, students and alumni of the university, as well as awarded the teaching staff.
Vice-President of National Olympic Committee of Belarus Andrey V. Astashevich handled the first awards. For the contribution progress of Olympic movement, mass sport and the sport of high achievements of the country, the employees of the university — senior teacher of the Department of Technologies in tourist industry Aleksandr N. Anisim and the professor of Pedagogy Department Mikhail E. Kobrinskiy were awarded with Acknowledgement and NOC Honorary Certificate.
The work of the Head of the non-governmental organization “Belarusian Olympic academy”, the dean of sports pedagogical faculty for mass sports Irina I. Guslistova was highly appreciated with Honorary Certificate of NOC and valuable gift.
According to the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Belarus dated October, 10 2017, the professor of Sports Games Department Aleksandr G. Furmanov was awarded a medal “For Distinguished Labor”. The honorable title “Honorable worker of physical culture and sport of the Republic of Belarus” was promoted to the professor of the Department of Theory and Methodic of physical education and sport Evgeniy I. Ivanchenko.
For the longstanding and productive labor, prominent contribution to the physical culture and sport development, highly-qualified athletes training Honorable Certificate of Cabinet of Council of the Republic was awarded to:
- Head of the Department of the technologies in tourist industry Alexey G. Gatatullin
- senior teacher of the Swimming Department Oleg G. Dzuba
- senior teacher of the Sportive Wrestling department Vitaly M. Senko
The award pin of the Ministry of Sport and Tourism of Belarus “For the physical culture and sport development in the Republic of Belarus” were awarded to:
- senior teacher of the department of Martial Arts and Specialized Training Nickolay E. Bobornev
- professor of the department of Skiing and Sports Shooting Natalia A. Urchik
- senior teacher of the football and hockey department Yuriy F. Mokhov
The owners of the award pin of the Ministry of Education of our republic “Excellent worker of Education” became:
- Vice-Rector on Science Tatiana A. Morozevich-Shiluk
- Head of the department of physical culture and physical culture for preschool children Vera I. Prikhodko
The certificates of acknowledgement of the Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus were awarded to :
- head of department of the Belarusian and Russian languages Olga A. Myasnikova
- head of the department of Physiology and Biochemistry Irina N. Rubchenya
- senior teacher of the department of social and humanitarian disciplines in tourism and hospitality Inna V. Filipovich
The Honorary Certificate of Minsk City Executive Committee was awarded to:
- professor of the department of Cycling, Skating and Equestrian Sports Vladimir V. Kaminskiy
- head of the department of Technical facilities of education Aleksandr S. Skavinskiy
The collective body of the university was also awarded an Honorary Certificate of Minsk City Executive Committee.
The award pin “80 years of BSUPC” on this festive evening was presented by the rector of the university Sergey Repkin to the employees who worked at the university more than 50 years:
