Beijing Sport University (BSU) delegation conducted a visit to the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture (BSUPC), headed by Vice-President Xing Shangzhi. Chinese delegates were negotiated by Sergey Repkin, BSUPC Rector.
From Belarusian side the meeting was attended by First Vice-Rector Sergey Shavruk; Vice-Rector on Sport Vladimir Klinov; Vice-Rector on Science Tatsiana Morozevich; The Head of International Department Irina Liashkovich, The Director of Confucius Class Song Peng.
The parties discussed prospects for future interactions. Among other things, Chinese side proposed BSUPC to take part in transparent research projects in winter sports, to engage in “One Belt — One Road” project, and also discuss scholarship programs of BSU, aimed at foreign students.
Sergey Repkin said, that in addition to cooperation in science and education, sports sphere is no less important. The idea of creating a Chinese hockey team at the BSUPC was also voiced.
After the meeting, the guests got acquainted with sports infrastructure and training facilities of the BSUPC, visited the university track-and-field arena and swimming complex.
