A delegation of the Lanfang Normal University, one of the top universities of Northern China, conducted a visit the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture on December 6, 2019. The delegation was led by Director of the Institute Yang Xuexing.
The guests were met by Sergey Shavruk, first vice-rector and Irina Liashkovich, the head of international department.
Both sides discussed the issues for mutual cooperation, issues of academic mobility fostering for professors and students, the implementation of both science and sport oriented events.
In advance of the 2022 Winter Olympics, Beijing, the representatives of the Chinese university emphasized a great importance of winter sports popularization and expressed their readiness for further work with Belarusian colleagues on this issue.
The core areas of interaction were reflected in the agreement on cooperation between both universities, which was signed at the meeting.
