Within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme in Belarusian State University of Physical Culture the teachers from Latvian Academy of Sport Education Ingrida Smuka and Inga Liepina came to the university. The foreign specialists run practical classes within the students of the department of the technologies in tourism industry
The teachers from Latvian Academy of Sport Education talked to belarusian colleagues and the staff of BSUPC, met with the vice-rector on science Tatiana Morozevich-Shiliuk, the head of the Institute of tourism Ludmila Sakun and the head of the department of the technologies in the tourism industry Aleksey Gatatulin to discuss the perspectives of the cooperation between the universities.
It is planned that the teacher of the academy Ingrida Smuka with the students will join the water route of BSUPC «Belarus – Latvia» on the Western Dvina, which will start in June 2018.
Latvian Academy of Sport Education is the main partner of BSUPC within the Erasmus+ programme.
For 2 years of participation in the program within the framework of mobility, 12 students (under the bachelor and master programs) and more than 10 teachers were sent for internships.
BSUPC joined the Erasmus+ programme in 2014. The first internships within the programme were made in 2015.

Erasmus + is the EU’s programme on cooperation and mobility in the field of higher education. The first European student mobility programme started in 1987. At the moment, the scale of the Erasmus + program has become truly Pan-European — it involves about 90% of European universities from 31 countries, and every year new universities join it.
