November 22, meeting between the students of the university and the Directorate of the 2nd European Games 2019 took place in the conference hall of the BSUPC track-and –field manege.
Already in a year and a half Minsk will become the capital of the large sports events. Expected, that more than 4000 athletes from 50 countries will take part in these competitions.
Nadezhda Elsukova, the manager on volunteers work, told the students about the preparation for this vast event. Exactly she will be in charge of volunteers’ work, who would like to become the part of organization committee.
To become the volunteer of the 2nd European Games you should register your profile on www.minsk2019.by and choose one of the directions, where the volunteer would like to be involved in.
Sports volunteers, co-workers on mass-media cooperation, logistics specialists, technical support are required for the competitions. All desired applicants will be invited for the interview after their application that has been left on the website, has been examined. For the BSUPC students the interview will hold at the university.
The standard requirements for the candidates are the basic English language knowledge, active life position, as well as the possibility to attend educational seminars. The volunteer-students can count on the university support: the examination terms will be tailored for them.
According to Nadezhda Elsukova, the participation in large European start organization will be a good experience for future specialists in the field of physical culture, sport and tourism.
