The Belarusian State University of Physical Culture received an official delegation from the Qujing Medical College (СHN). They came with a working visit as part of the expansion of international academic cooperation. The event was a continuation of preliminary agreements reached in 2024 and symbolized the transition to the practical implementation of joint projects.
The Chinese deputation was led by Yu Zulin, secretary of the CPC Committee at the college. The delegation included leading representatives of the educational and scientific units of the college:
Chen Hua — Dean of the faculty of arts,
Xu Tao — deputy dean of the clinical faculty,
Jan Hui — sports health and rehabilitation program executive,
Xu Heidan is the deputy director of appointment, employment and international exchange.
During the visit, a meeting was held with Sergei Borisovich Repkin, rector of the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture, Vladimir Vladimirovich Klinov, first vice-rector, Galina Ivanova Bashlakova, vice rector for academic work, Oksana Olegovna Gunich, head of the International Relations Department and Alla Alexandrovna Stefanenko, head of the Training and Teaching Department.
The conversation took place in an atmosphere of openness and mutual interest. The prospects of educational cooperation in the field of sports medicine and rehabilitation, development of double degree programs, organization of academic exchanges were discussed.
The delegation of the Medical College made a presentation, familiarizing Belarusian colleagues with the educational structure, training directions, international initiatives and scientific achievements of the institution. Representatives of BSUPC, in turn, demonstrated the university’s sports infrastructure.
The result of the visit was a confirmation of the general interest in activating the partnership, as well as an agreement on the early transition to the formation of joint educational programs. Cooperation between BSUPC and the Qujing Medical College is aimed at developing innovative approaches in training specialists, strengthening academic links and promoting the initiative «One Belt — One way» in the field of education and science.
