The strategic session “Management, marketing and economics of sport. Sport 1.0” held at the BSUPC

Modern Belarusian sport needs literate managing solutions, clamed rector of Belarusian State University of Physical Culture Sergey Repkin on the opening of the strategic session “Management, marketing and economics of sport. Sport 1.0”, which took place on 19 April at BSUPC.

The head of the university is consistent that the sports functionary, managers of federation and sport clubs do not use the possibilities of mutual cooperation with sponsors in full manner. Some of the organizations do not pay any attention to promotion and consider the cost for it as an unjustified spendthrift.

During the day the problems of economics in sport were discussed, the ways to its solution had been searched for and the established speakers had been exchanging their experience. The First Deputy Minister of sport and tourism of the Republic of Belarus Vyacheslav Durnov, General Secretary NOC of Belarus, the principal of the fund “Directory of II European Games 2019”, the Chairman of public organization “Belarusian Federation of karate” Georgiy Katulin, the chairman of the board of directors JSC “Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus”, the chairman of Association “ Belarusian Football Federation”, Sergey Rumas, the chairman of JSC “Bank Moscow-Minsk” Igor Lihogrud, the chairman of public organization “ Belarusian e-sport federation” Denis Bogush, the principal of the directory of TV channel “Belarus 5” Pavel Bulatskiy, the executive principal of public organization “Belarusian Basketball federation” Anastasiya Marinina were among the speakers.

The experts were talking about e-sport, sports events production, sports sponsorships, considered communicative strategies, the work with the volunteers, fans and thematic mass media. The event was held in the format of open dialogue.
