The First Vice-Rector of the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture Segey Shavruk met Taekwondo Promotion Foundation (Republic of Korea) Chairperson Sang Wook Lee. The Parties discussed the directions of cooperation, which soon will be faced in the Memorandum of Сooperation.
It is planned, that in November 2018 4 students and the teacher of the Chair of Martial arts and Specialized Training will visit Korea for three-weeks practice, organized by the Taekwondo Promotion Foundation for the representatives of various countries.
With the assistance of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Republic of Belarus, Korean specialists on Taekwondo maintain the contacts with the Belarusian colleagues, organize and run the sports events and master classes jointly.
Thus, in the beginning of June, a master class was held at the Chair of Martial arts and Specialized Training with the participation of a coach from Korea for university students studying in the specialty «Taekwondo coaching». The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Republic of Belarus in cooperation with the Belarusian Taekwondo Federation, the Taekwondo Promotion Foundation with the participation of the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture in the Sports Palace «Uruchie» organized a concert performance of the Korean model-demonstration team in taekwondo «Taekwondo Performance» where Korean athletes showed their skills.
