The Japanese delegation has visited BSUPC

The delegation of Miyagi Prefecture (Japan) led by the Head of the Prefecture Yamada Yuichi and the rector of Sendai university Taiji Hozawa has visited Belarusian State University of Physical Culture. The delegation also included the members of the Miyagi Prefecture administration, teachers and students of the Sendai university.

The guests of our university have had a meeting with Rector of BSUFC Sergey Repkin, Vice-Rector on Science Tatsiana Morozevich-Shiluk, Deputy manager of the International Department Yanina Serafimovich and the senior teacher of The Chair of Gymnastics Maria Makarova also attended this meeting.

During the meeting the participant summed up the results of the implemented joint projects and discussed the current areas of the cooperation. The heads of the universities paid special attention to the issue of mutual internship of teachers and students. In the new academic year, it is planned that 9 students of the Sendai University will become students of the Master’s program at BSUPC.

The universities have already been exchanging their specialists. In April 2018 a coach of judo Naoki Nakata came to work in the BSUPC. He is learning Russian and takes an active part in the training process of students of the Chair of Wrestling.

In addition, the senior teacher of the BSUPC Chair of Gymnastics Maria Makarova also had been sharing her professional skills with Japanese athletes and coaches of rhythmic gymnastics for several years. Moreover, in 2017 Sendai University became a training base for Belarusian rhythmic gymnasts.

BSUPC and Sendai University are bound by the Cooperation Agreement. The parties are intending to expand and strengthen partnership relations.

The foreign delegation has already visited the headquarters of the National Olympic Committee of Belarus and National Olympic Rhythmic Gymnastics Training Center. Foreign guests are going to visit the Minsk City Executive Committee and to participate in the International Investment Forum in Mogilev. The part of the delegation is going to stay in the country until the July, 4 in order to attend festive events dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus.
