The international equipment and accreditation center of the 2nd European Games has opened in the Athletic Manege of Belarusian State University of Physical Culture.
“We are planning, that about 40.000 people will pass the accreditation procedure at the Athletic Manege. The majority of them will be volunteers, international and local judges, sports facilities staff, contracting and contract organizations which will ensure the holding of competitions. Accreditation card is a specialized paper secure document. It also has a hologram sticker to verify the document authenticity,” said the Head of Accreditation Department of “Directorate of the 2nd European Games 2019” Anton Liahov.
He added that volunteers, international and local judges, will get the necessary outfit.
The mascot of the 2nd European Games — Lesik the Fox was the first one, who passed accreditation procedure for the multisport forum.
The international equipment and accreditation center will finish its functioning on June 30, 2019. There will be 22 volunteers and four Directorate employees for supervising.
2nd European Games will be held on June, 21-30 in Minsk. 15 different sport disciplines will be included. In general, 12 sports facilities will be involved, including the largest — the National Olympic Stadium «Dynamo», «Minsk-Arena», «Chizhovka-Arena», the Palace of Sport. More than 4,000 athletes from 50 countries will play 199 sets of awards.
