Internships between LASE and BSUPC in the frames of Erasmus+ are resumed

International internships between Latvian Academy of Sport Education (Riga, Latvia) and Belarusian State University Physical Culture in the frames of Erasmus+ are resumed.

This time LASE representatives have visited BSUPC with the main aim to strengthen and improve their skills in such areas as sports dancing and international activities, discussed forthcoming joint projects, activities.

Master of Pedagogical Sciences, the teacher of LASE Department of Gymnastics Denis Savcenko have passed the internship at the Gymnastics Department at Belarusian State University of Culture in the area of sports dances. The young specialist’s main goal was to deepen the knowledge of theoretical and practical parts in teaching students of sports dances, as well as the modernization of approaches in the study of sports dancing in LASE. Denis have visited practical trainings at BSUPC, got acquainted with methodological materials and other documentation of Gymnastics Department of BSUPC.

Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Uldis Svinks is also the coordinator of international projects at LASE, particularly the Erasmus+ project.

Together with Irina Aksenova (the employee of the international office at LASE) professor have carried out the outgoing and incoming mobilities, organize the working process within the framework of international internships.

Together with the Head of International Department Iryna Liashkovich, a draft agreement on the exchange of teachers, students and staff was developed within the framework of the program, issues related to the students’ educational programs were discussed, as well as prospects for the next two academic years, that will cover the future Erasmus+ project.

For reference: the signing of the project on the implementation of mobility is expected at the end of June.

At the moment, two projects have been implemented between Latvian Academy of Sport Education and Belarusian State University of Physical Culture: 2015-2017, 2016-2018.

Within the framework of these projects, over 40 internships for teachers, students and staff, were carried out between universities within two years.
